Tunisian Navy Rescues 356 Migrants off Libya

A boat carrying 356 migrants was found off the coast of Ben Gardane City (south border) with Libya where it crashed.

The boat carried mostly Africans from Sudan, Egypt, Morocco and a few from Pakistan and Syria. They managed to rescue seven children, 38 year old pregnant woman and a two months old infant who were among the passengers.

Red Crescent official Ammar Lamloum reported that the group of migrants was attempting to reach the Italian island of Lampedusa. They moved four people including the pregnant woman to the hospital.
